Build With AI by Google Developer Group Juba
Volunteered as part of Google Developer Group Juba for the Build With AI event at Scenius Hub, supporting the event as a designer and contributing to a hands-on session on using AI for small business graphics.
I was part of Google Developer Group Juba during the Build With AI event, volunteering as the designer and supporting the team behind the event.
Build With AI was a hands-on learning session organized by GDG Juba at Scenius Hub in Juba. The event brought together young people, developers, creatives, and technology enthusiasts to explore artificial intelligence and how it can be used practically in different fields.
The event was not just a normal workshop. It included interactive activities, discussions, games, and breakout sessions that made the learning experience more engaging and practical.
One of the activities was the “Say What You See” game, which created a fun and energetic moment for participants. It helped make the session more interactive while encouraging people to observe, think, and respond creatively.
During the event, we also had breakout sessions where participants explored different topics and practical use cases. I contributed to a breakout session focused on using AI for designing small business graphics, connecting my design background with the growing possibilities of artificial intelligence.
This experience was meaningful because it connected directly with the work I care about: creativity, digital skills, AI, community learning, and building useful tools for young people.
As a designer, founder of VikraHub, and someone passionate about creative technology, being part of GDG Juba’s Build With AI event reminded me of the importance of community spaces where young people can learn, experiment, collaborate, and prepare for the future of technology.
