I attended the Scenius Hub Tech Community End of Year Meetup, a gathering that brought together people from South Sudan’s growing technology and innovation ecosystem.
The meetup created space for developers, innovators, designers, IT professionals, students, ecosystem partners, and problem-solvers to connect, share ideas, reflect on the year, and build stronger relationships within the community.
For me, this was a meaningful moment because it connected directly with the journey of VikraHub and the kind of ecosystem I believe in — one where knowledge, creativity, collaboration, and community support can help young people grow.
Being present in such spaces is important because building technology is not only about writing code or launching platforms. It is also about meeting people, learning from others, sharing opportunities, and becoming part of a community that believes in progress.
The meetup reminded me that South Sudan’s tech ecosystem is still growing, but it already has passionate people who are willing to learn, build, collaborate, and support one another.
