Attended the Second National Trade Forum 2026 in Juba, a high-level forum focused on trade development, regional integration, industrial growth, and opportunities for strengthening South Sudan’s business competitiveness.
I had the opportunity to attend the Second National Trade Forum 2026 held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Juba.
The forum brought together government representatives, private sector leaders, development partners, entrepreneurs, academia, civil society, and young people to discuss South Sudan’s trade development, regional integration, industrial growth, and competitiveness.
The theme of the forum, “From Potential to Prosperity: Harnessing South Sudan’s Competitiveness for Regional Trade Integration,” reflected the importance of strengthening South Sudan’s position in regional markets and creating more opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
As a young entrepreneur and creative builder, attending this forum was a valuable opportunity to learn, connect, and understand how youth-led businesses can contribute to the future of trade, innovation, and economic development in South Sudan.
I am grateful to the Youth Empowerment Organization for sharing this opportunity and to the organizers for creating a platform where young entrepreneurs can be part of national conversations.
